Product Design Lead

Job description:

Responsibilities:

• Support Project and Program Managers in the definition of development logic, schedules, KPIs and metrics

• Evaluate, define and drive design options based on the optimization of existing assets, costs, schedules and risks

• Ensure the correctness and completeness of the design as it pertains to the customer and industry requirements

• Review and approve technical data throughout the product life cycle

• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (or equivalent)

• Minimum 7 years of experience working in product design environment in either Systems, Hardware or Software with a high level of capabilities in cross-functional aspects

• Knowledge and understanding of key design drivers for aerospace products and solutions including architecture trade offs, safety and security
