Senses Lifestyle is a leading manufacturer and exporter of handcrafted wooden tabletop, houseware, serveware, and pet products, supplying to major global retailers across the US, Europe & Middle East. With strong capabilities in wood, metal, enamel, resin, and mixed materials, our design-first approach sets us apart in the international market.

We’re expanding our design team and looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and trend-driven Product Designer who can bring fresh ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Product Development

• Conceptualize and design innovative products across categories:
• wooden serveware, trays, bowls, platters, barware, masala boxes, chip-and-dip sets, kitchen tools, pet feeders, lighting accents, etc.
• Create sketches, mood boards, concept renders, and 3D visualizations.
• Develop design variations for global buyers based on theme, trend, and material.

2. Technical Drawings & Specifications

• Prepare accurate technical drawings , spec sheets , measurements , and material details for factory production.
• Work closely with sampling team to ensure designs are manufacturable.

3. Trend Research & Market Study

• Research global design trends, materials, colors, and finishes across platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, trade fairs, retail stores, and competitor catalogs.
• Study buyer mood boards and design language to create targeted collections.

4. Collaboration With Production Teams

• Coordinate with carpentry, metal, enamel, finishing, and QC teams during sampling and pre-production.
• Ensure design intent is followed from prototype to final sample.
• Assist in resolving any design or production-related issues.

5. Buyer Interaction & Presentation

• Work with the merchandising team to prepare presentations for global buyers.
• Develop visually appealing catalogues , line sheets , and collection boards .
• Join buyer meetings for product explanation when needed.

6. Documentation & Process

• Maintain design records, project trackers, and revision files.
• Ensure timely delivery of samples and adherence to development timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong creativity with an eye for aesthetics, form, and functionality.
• Good command of: Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop/CorelDRAW
• Rhino / Fusion 360 / SolidWorks / or similar 3D tools
• KeyShot or any rendering software
• Understanding of materials: wood (Acacia, Mango), metal, enamel, resin, glass, and mixed mediums.
• Ability to convert ideas into workable, production-friendly drawings.
• Strong sense of global design trends and retail-ready product concepts.
• Good communication, time management & teamwork skills.

Bonus Skills (Preferred)

• Experience in handicrafts, tabletop, home décor, or furniture industry.
• Knowledge of packaging design (boxes, inserts, labels).
• Ability to create lifestyle product renders.
• Familiarity with export buyer expectations.

Education

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related fields.
