Job Summary
As a Product Designer at Allvue India, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next-generation user experience across Allvue’s core product initiatives, including Consolidated Back Office (CBO), Document Ingestion, and Portfolio Monitoring. These initiatives are being developed under the new Allvue product design paradigm — a transformative shift in how Allvue delivers its solutions to clients.
The new product design paradigm represents Allvue’s move from product-centric interfaces to a persona-based, AI-powered workspace that drives action through intelligent, contextual design. As the Product Designer, you will ensure these initiatives adhere to the new design paradigm, working closely with the central Product Design team and Engineering to translate Figma wireframes into intuitive, responsive, and consistent user interfaces using modern design frameworks.
This role requires a hands-on designer who combines UX strategy, visual design, and front-end design system implementation to create elegant and scalable experiences. You will also contribute to the creation of standardized UI patterns and reusable component libraries using Shadcn and Sigma.
Responsibilities
Product & Design Leadership
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Product Design and team members to localize and implement Figma-based workflows, user journeys, and interaction models.
• Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, and Architecture teams to ensure seamless execution of the design vision into React-based code.
Design System & Standards
• Standardize and maintain UI/UX consistency across initiatives by developing and enforcing design system guidelines.
• Integrate Sigma UI components for visualization, charts, and data-rich displays.
• Leverage Storybook for component documentation, review, and lifecycle management.
Collaboration & Execution
• Ensure accessibility, scalability, and performance are considered throughout design iterations.
• Work iteratively, incorporating feedback from usability studies, stakeholder reviews, and end users.
• Contribute to UX research, testing, and validation for continuous improvement of UI/UX experiences under new Product Design Paradigm.
Requirements
General Qualifications
• Proven experience translating complex business workflows into simple, elegant, and intuitive design solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work with cross-functional teams across global time zones.
Technical & Design Expertise
• Experience with React-based UI systems, Storybook, and Shadcn component creation and management.
• Hands-on experience with Sigma UI (or similar frameworks) for charts and data visualization.
• Working knowledge of Gen AI tools for accelerating UI code generation and standardization.
• Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and UX heuristics.

• Ability to balance design excellence with delivery efficiency.

• Self-starter who can operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
