For our Engineering Department in Maxion Wheels Aluminum India Pvt. Ltd., Khed, Pune - India, we are looking for a

Product Designer


Your future role

  • Develop new product designs in 3D and 2D using CATIA.

  • Conduct feasibility analysis and propose required changes or improvements.

  • Create and update 3D CAD models as per customer and Maxion requirements.

  • Prepare and release engineering drawings (internal and customer)

  • Manage design changes, resolve non‑compliances, and ensure accuracy.

  • Support other departments with 2D/3D CAD design when needed.

  • Provide CAD data for product, process, and mold validation activities.

  • Maintain strict control and compliance of CAD data and ensure secure communication.

  • Follow Maxion and customer design standards and CAD guidelines.

    • Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.

  • 3 - 5 years working experience in the automotive industry

  • CATIA V5, with knowledge of AutoCAD or Siemens NX as an added advantage

  • Strong skills in 3D/2D CAD modeling, GD&T, and engineering drawings.

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Ability to work in Matrix Organization

  • Good understanding of automotive or product design principles

  • Strong analytical and quantitative competencies

  • Understands complex concepts and the relationships between issues or problems

  • Effectively communicates across organization and is confident in interacting with senior leadership team

  • Possesses intellectual agility; readily accepts the challenges of unfamiliar tasks
