Education : BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/ Production/ Automotive Engineering
Detailed JD:
Roles and Responsibilities: -
• Lead the design and development of sealing systems for BIW, Paint, and Static applications.
• Support engineering activities related to body sealing, water leak prevention, and performance validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new sealing technologies and solutions.
• Conduct verification and validation of sealing components and systems.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication across departments and with suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement in sealing design and process robustness.
• Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis using structured tools.
• Contribute to APQP and PSW documentation and ensure process compliance.
• Maintain alignment with design and manufacturing standards for sealing systems.
Essentials: -
• Experience in design and development of automotive BIW, Paint, and Static Sealing systems.
• Strong knowledge of Body Structures, Paint, Sealing, Water Leaks, and related manufacturing requirements.
• Proficiency in CAD visualization tools.
• Skilled in data analysis and PC applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and engagement skills.
• Effective team player, self-motivated to deliver high-quality results.
• Logical and methodical approach at both strategic and component levels.
• Experience in verification and validation processes.
• Understanding of BIW design, stampings, and body construction.
• Experience in developing and delivering new methods, processes, and design solutions.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools: Six Sigma, PPS (8D), FMEA, Robustness.
• Exposure to iCreate, WERS, AIMs, RMDV2, APQP, and PSW processes
