Job Description

Responsibilities:

Product Management & Development
  • Lead product definition, roadmap creation, and delivery for robotics and wireless solutions, aligning with market needs, tech feasibility, and budgets

  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and design teams to prioritize features, integrate hardware/software/wireless components (e.g., AI, IoT, sensors), and iterate via user feedback and field trials

  • Collaborate with solution managers to translate client requirements into product features for roadmap integration and milestone delivery.

  • Coordinate with project delivery teams to segregate and hand over non-product features for execution

  • Conduct market/competitor analysis, customer discovery, and manage full lifecycle: ideation, prototyping, testing (including compliance), launch, and support

  • Establish timelines, budgets, risks, and quality plans; resolve integration issues, scope changes, and overruns

  • Manage financials (forecasting, ROI), track metrics (e.g., adoption, performance KPIs), and report to senior management/stakeholders

  • Optimize resources across robotics/wireless teams; ensure smooth development-to-deployment transition and post-launch SLA adherence, preventing penalties or incidents
  • Stakeholder Management

  • Oversee contracts, vendors, and subcontractors for robotics/wireless tech

  • Engage stakeholders in decisions, requirements gathering, and validations

  • Build lasting relationships by anticipating needs, negotiating changes/feature priorities, and delivering innovative value

  • Maintain customer-service focus in secure, defense-oriented environments
  • Team Management

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams in robotics/wireless to achieve quality outcomes and product-market fit

  • Optimize resource use, conduct reviews, foster feedback, and ensure high productivity/billability
  • Project Management

  • Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables for robotics and wireless product initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall product roadmaps and organizational goals

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependency mapping; utilize tools like Gantt charts or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum/Kanban) to track progress

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, including technical, operational, and regulatory risks in robotics/wireless domains

  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive on-time delivery and resolve blockers

  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and manage change requests; conduct regular status reviews and reporting to stakeholders using metrics like earned value management (EVM) or burndown charts

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, safety regulations for robotics), quality assurance processes, and post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future executions

  • Oversee integration of project deliverables with client environments, including field trials, deployment phasing, and handover to operations/support teams

  • The ideal profile should have:

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or Electrical/Electronics (wireless focus) or equivalent

  • 3+ years in product management for tech-related products

  • Proficient in JIRA and Scrum processes

  • Proven experience in end-to-end product leadership for robotics/wireless projects

  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, creative; strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Able to build trusting relationships and travel as needed
  • We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs—Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity—and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives. We are committed to our Impact: Valuing our clients, Growing our people, and Creating our future.
