What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain IoT gateway firmware to automate irrigation, collect sensor data, and integrate with LoRa sensor nodes.

• Lead and collaborate with the team to build and scale cloud applications on Azure to process, store, and analyze IoT data.

• Implement multi-threading, multiprocessing, caching, and queuing mechanisms to optimize IoT gateway performance in memory-constrained environments .

• Work closely with product, design, and agronomy teams to create user-centric IoT solutions .

• Participate in product discovery, prototyping , and strategy discussions for IoT-driven products.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve IoT systems, from hardware integration to cloud analytics.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in software development with Python , IoT gateway firmware programming , NoSQL databases (MongoDB & Redis) , Microservices , Docker & Kubernetes , and Azure .

• Hands-on experience writing firmware logic for automation, and real-time sensor data integration.

• Strong experience with threading, multiprocessing, queuing, caching , and memory-constrained system design .

• Strong understanding of IoT ecosystems, including hardware-software interactions .

• Passion for solving user problems and contributing to IoT product strategy .

• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
