Job Roles & Responsibilities: -

• Design, build, and support advanced proxy solutions (Squid, HTTPS) on Linux, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Select and implement proxy architectures to meet business needs, including bootstrapping, certificate management, and PAC file configuration.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot scripts (Perl, Python, Shell) to automate proxy workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation within proxy infrastructure, aligned with organizational goals.
• Act as technical lead during proxy-related incidents, providing root-cause analysis and resolution guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate proxy systems within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern network architectures.

Job Skills & Requirements: -

Experience & Education

• 10+ years in network engineering with a focus on proxy and Linux-based solutions.
• Bachelor s in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• RHCE and proxy certifications (e.g., Forcepoint, Bluecoat) preferred.

Technical Expertise

• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, HTTPS protocols, SSL certificate management, Squid proxy architecture, and bootstrapping techniques.
• Proficient in scripting (Perl, Python, Shell) to automate configurations and monitoring.
• Experience integrating proxy services with cloud platforms and hybrid networks (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of SaaS/IaaS/PaaS, virtualization helpful for broader infrastructure alignment.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills able to explain technical solutions clearly.
• High ownership mindset resilient under pressure and resourceful in delivery-oriented environments.
