Job Description
Supervision of Plant Product Engineering group for Plant Irapuato. Responsible for engineering activities, including technical evaluations and problem solving for quality improvements, cost reductions, and customer/supplier requests.
+ Manage and develop the plant product engineering group through regular staff meetings, one on one’s, coaching feedback, technical guidance, business goals creation, and development plan guidance.
+ Create development plans to broaden the technical knowledge of the group and to generate technical competencies according to the indicators.
+ Communicate effectively across functional groups (product engineering, design, homerooms, CAE, quality, assembly, purchasing, manufacturing, etc.).
+ Lead root cause problem solving analysis and develop design solutions to manufacturing issues, warranty issues, and cost reductions.
