About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (Manager level) who has led core product initiatives in fast-growing, tech-driven environments. You should have deep experience in scaling business-critical products, managing cross-functional teams, and have seen products through multiple growth phases — from 0 to 1, and 1 to 10.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, technically proficient, and has demonstrated strong leadership through at least two performance appraisal cycles managing a team of 3–4 product managers or associates .


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap : Define and own the roadmap for business-critical, client-facing products with real-time impact.
  • Team Management : Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4+ product managers; drive career growth, conduct appraisals, and support performance improvement.
  • Execution Ownership : Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle — from ideation and planning to execution, go-live, and post-release optimization.
  • Cross-functional Leadership : Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management : Interface with BFSI clients (preferred) and internal stakeholders to prioritize features based on business impact.
  • Customer Centricity : Deeply understand user needs through research, client interactions, and usage analytics to create intuitive, scalable products.
  • Technical Collaboration : Translate business requirements into clear, technical product specifications. Ensure alignment between business goals and tech implementation.
  • Analytics & Growth : Monitor product KPIs and use data to guide prioritization and product iterations.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks in critical product areas — including downtime, data issues, and performance bottlenecks.


Required Experience & Skills

  • 6–10 years of overall experience in product management with at least 2+ years leading a team .
  • Proven experience in handling performance appraisals for 3–4 team members over at least 2 complete cycles .
  • Deep technical understanding to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience in managing core business-critical products — products that, if disrupted, impact client operations in real-time.
  • Exposure to BFSI clients is a strong plus.
  • Worked in scaled startups , ideally those that have grown from $20M to $50M+ ARR or user base scale.
  • Experience in both 0-1 product building and scaling existing products in high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • MBA or equivalent business exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other product development methodologies.
