About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the strategy, architecture,
and scaling of the advertising engine for ZZAZZ. This role sits at the high-impact
intersection of Fintech and AdTech, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of our monetization
platform—from real-time bidding infrastructure to advertiser performance.
In this role, you won't just manage a roadmap; you will architect the bridge between
payment signals and programmatic advertising. You will work alongside Engineering, Data
Science, and Sales leaders to build a low-latency, high-yield ad product that leverages
real-time transaction data to drive unprecedented value.
What You’ll Do
1. Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own the Vision: Define and execute the roadmap for the Ads platform, transforming business goals into concrete technical requirements.
- Monetization Logic: Design sophisticated ad monetization strategies that leverage unique transaction signals and user behavior.
- Balancing Act: Manage the trade-offs between speed, scalability, regulatory compliance, and revenue performance in a real-time environment.
2. Ad-Tech & Platform Development
- Build the Stack: Lead the development of core programmatic capabilities, including DSP/SSP integrations, Ad Exchange logic, and OpenRTB-based bidding.
- Technical Architecture: collaborate with engineering to define APIs, data contracts, and system architecture.
- Real-Time Performance: Drive capabilities for real-time decisioning, targeting, and attribution, ensuring the system maintains high availability and low latency under load.
3. Data, Measurement & Optimization
- Define Success: Establish KPIs for advertiser performance (ROAS, CTR), yield optimization (eCPM), and overall platform health.
- Analytics Frameworks: Partner with data teams to build robust reporting, attribution models, and A/B experimentation frameworks.
- Signal Utilization: distinctively utilize payment and behavioral data to refine targeting algorithms and improve advertiser ROI.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with Ads Sales and Business teams to translate market needs into product capabilities.
- Engineering Partnership: Work closely with backend and systems engineers on technical trade-offs, anticipated bottlenecks, and delivery timelines.
- Governance: Collaborate with Legal & Compliance to ensure all products meet privacy, consent, and regulatory standards (GDPR, DPDP, etc.).
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- Experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience with a demonstrated track record of technical depth.
- AdTech Native: Hands-on experience building or managing programmatic advertising products, including DSPs, SSPs, and Ad Exchanges.
- Protocol Knowledge: Deep familiarity with OpenRTB specifications, real-time bidding (RTB) mechanics, and ad serving logic.
- Technical Fluency: Ability to discuss APIs, distributed systems, and data pipelines with engineering teams. You can write clear, detailed PRDs and technical specs.
- Data & Attribution: Strong understanding of how attribution, measurement, and targeting models work at scale.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Fintech, Payments, or E-commerce ecosystems.• Familiarity with modern privacy frameworks, identity solutions, and consent management platforms (CMPs).
- Experience scaling platforms with high QPS (Queries Per Second) and strict low- latency requirements.
- Background in working directly with monetization teams, agencies, or advertisers.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical Architecture: You understand data flows, API design, and system constraints.
- Ecosystem Knowledge: You know the AdTech landscape inside out (supply vs. demand, auction mechanics).
- Analytical Mindset: You are data-driven and comfortable with experimentation.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills; you can translate \"code\" to \"business\" and vice versa.
- Agility: Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
