Key Responsibilities :

  • Creating and maintaining a regional market assessment to understand the market opportunities that exist in the region
  • Creating and maintaining a product and technology strategy to align Donaldson’s product offering with the market expectations to enable market share growth
  • Develops strong relationships with regional entities, our internal engineering/ product management team and operations teams to be able to effectively execute and influence program outcomes, ensures program status is communicated, program risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Supports multiple programs to completion leveraging our program toll gate process
  • Develops, manages, and communicates program plan with all team members and supporting roles, ensuring status is actively maintained in our program tollgate system
  • Acts as conduit between regional entities and local engineering and operations teams (Voice of market within our local team, voice of local team with our entity)
  • Brings voice of customer back (from entities, customer visits, market analysis of region) to our team to provide directional input to maintain a global perspective
  • Works with regional Application Engineering/ Sales teams to ensure correct product application is being applied (Application Engineering support)
  • Works with regional entities to identify opportunities, support/ pursuit of Target Customers and opportunities (Business development)
  • Education Qualification :

  • B Tech Mechanical
  • Technical Competence & Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative nature.
  • Proven planning, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Data mining and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to instill trust and influence across all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Understanding of engines and heavy equipment systems and operation.
  • Diesel Fuel system or hydraulic product experience a plus.
  • Leadership Competence:

  • Strong business acumen
  • Relevant Experience:

  • 3-5 years' Product Management experience
  • 5-8 years’ experience actively working with global teams
  • Others (% of travel, language, etc.):

  • English & Hindi
  • 10% travel
