Who We're Looking For
In this role, the Product Manager III acts as the general manager of a product line and as such determines and executes the product strategy on a global basis, navigating both the company’s short-term and long-term position in the market. The Product Manager leads all activities related to new product development and ideation, monetization, the lifecycle management and evolution of the product, and makes all critical decisions affecting the product with the goal of increasing the revenues and the market share. This role also acts as a mentor and lead to junior team members.-

Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports
Key Responsibilities
Determining market size and opportunities for growth for existing and new customers.
Defining, executing and maintaining product strategy.
Managing, promoting, directing and controlling product line.
Managing product lifecycle, value proposition and annual product plans.
Understanding market pricing and opportunities/risks to existing and new customers. Prepare joint sales plans with the sales force.
Understanding competitors, their key people, pricing, and product strategies.
Providing input into the marketing and training organizations to develop sales collateral and product documentation.
Prioritize fixes and coordinate with IT.
Meeting with customers and prospects and provide written updates to executive management.
Identifying deficiencies with the service that must be corrected.
Identifying potential ancillary services and feature functions for the product.
Developing business cases to substantiate new initiatives related to the products.
Increase revenues and market share.
Making recommendation for reduction plan to reduce product costs.
Grooming of product requirements to drive development roadmap
Bottom line results expected – growing the number of customers and the revenues for the product.
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
BS/BA in telecommunications, computer science or relevant field
Project Management certification is desired
Experience with UI/UX development is a plus
Experience in reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts is preferred
Experience in Jira highly desired
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrable knowledge on SS7, Diameter and 2G/3G/4G data roaming and analytics and reporting for those protocols
Exprience in mobile messaging and CPaaS
Understanding of the Mobile user experience (Pricing, user behavior)
Hands-on Product development experience with an understanding of product development process
Financial and analytical skills
Excellent presentation and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and resources
Ability to think critically with independent and analytical skillsets and to proactively target market opportunities
Strong interpersonal, communications and relationships building skills
Ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve common goals and to influence without authority
Comfortable working and communicating with all levels of management across the organization
Must be able to develop concise functional specifications/requirements documents
Familiarity with cloud concepts and understanding hyperscaler architecture
