JOB TITLE: Product Manager

 LOCATION NAME:  Mexico

REPORTS TO: Product Manager

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Product Manager primarily responsible for the design and release of components that have been identified by product line managers.  The product engineer's responsibilities will include engineering, application engineering tasks, as well as involvement with manufacturing engineering, quality and customer support.

TECHNICAL JOB SUMMARY:

  • Internal part design
  • Reverse engineering of products
  • Designs developed through suppliers
  • 1st article approvals
  • Validation testing
  • Quality/inspection requirements
  • Failure analysis
  • Provide Purchasing and Marketing support
  • External Customer/Supplier interfacing
  • Simultaneous engineering support for local and offsite manufacturing plant(s)
