As a Product Manager at GEMGEM, it's a pivotal role in defining and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our products. You will serve as the crucial link between cross-functional teams, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations, ensuring the delivery of innovative, customer-centric solutions that align with our business goals. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, technical acumen, and a relentless focus on user experience.

Role Overview:

1. Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of web and mobile development technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.

2. Product Management Skills

  • Market Research: Ability to conduct market research and analyze consumer needs.
  • Product Roadmapping: Experience in creating and managing product roadmaps.
  • Feature Prioritization: Skilled in prioritizing features based on business goals and user needs.
  • User Experience (UX): Understanding of UX principles and practices.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in agile development environments.

3. Leadership and Collaboration

  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work with developers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

4. Strategic Thinking

  • Visionary: Ability to develop and articulate a clear product vision that aligns with the company's goals.
  • Analytical: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving abilities to address challenges and identify opportunities.

  • Customer-Centric: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into product features.
  • Feedback Utilization: Experience in gathering and utilising customer feedback to improve products.

6. Financial Acumen

  • Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and resources efficiently.
  • ROI Analysis: Ability to analyse the return on investment (ROI) for product features and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality product delivery.

2. Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5 + years of experience in product management, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Experience in the jewellery industry is an advantage but not a necessity.
