The Product Manager, Technical is a strategic, customer-driven, and technically fluent leader responsible for envisioning, defining, and delivering products that drive measurable business outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer experience — combining deep technical understanding with strategic insight and execution excellence.
The Product Manager, Technical owns the end-to-end product lifecycle — from opportunity identification and product strategy to delivery and post-launch optimization — ensuring that each product delivers tangible value to both customers and the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Define and drive product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives, technical feasibility, and customer needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, analysts, and stakeholders to bring products from concept to market.
- Translate business goals into clear technical requirements, features, and user stories with measurable success criteria.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps, ensuring effective prioritization, planning, and alignment with engineering delivery timelines.
- Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to oversee technical execution, manage trade-offs, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities, emerging trends, and areas for innovation.
- Measure and analyze product performance, using data and customer feedback to iterate and continuously improve.
- Support go-to-market strategies, partnering with marketing, operations, and sales to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
- Act as the customer advocate, ensuring every product decision is guided by customer value and experience.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education & Technical Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Product Management Experience: 5+ years of experience managing products in an agile software development setting, delivering complex technology initiatives from concept to release.
- Agile Delivery & Execution: Proven track record of delivering products using Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and the use of tools like Jira.
- Analytical & Requirements Skills: Strong ability to elicit, document, and communicate requirements for both technical and business audiences; highly analytical with a data-driven approach to decision making and problem solving.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, driving clarity, alignment, and successful outcomes.
Nice To Have:
- Experience supporting or managing security, risk, or compliance platforms that aggregate application and infrastructure vulnerabilities, security violations, or risk insights.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools such as Wiz, Tenable, or SentinelOne, or any CNAPP platform and an understanding of how security data integrates into development and remediation workflows.
- Understanding of security governance, vulnerability lifecycle management, and incident response processes in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Technical Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience writing production code, designing solutions, or developing technical architectures in large-scale software environments.
- Experience using SQL, Tableau, or similar analytical tools to extract insights, visualize data, and support data-driven product decisions.
- Experience leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to enhance productivity, requirements analysis, ideation, and communication — or integrating AI-driven insights into product strategy and decision-making.
