Project Management – Technical II


Overview

The Product Data & Analytics team builds internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the business, portfolio and revenue optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product development and Go-To Market strategies. We are a hands-on global team providing scalable end-to-end data solutions. Working closely with the business, we influence decisions across Mastercard through data driven insights. We are a team on analytics engineers, data architects, BI developers, data analysts and data scientists, and fully manage our own data assets and solutions.


• The individual will facilitate business/technical requirements gathering, story writing, and story elaboration for our strategic initiatives.

• The individual will owns and manage product documentation ensuring features and associated documentation are clear and easily consumable by other engineering teams, functional teams and business stakeholders

Role and responsibilities


• Elicits and decomposes business requirements into platform requirements and user stories

• Continuously monitors feature development at the feature level adjusting throughout implementation as needed

• Supports and participates in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into the feature

• Monitor and control project progress, managing risks, issues, and changes as they arise.

• Ensure all project documentation is maintained and conduct post-project evaluations

• Owns and manages product documentation ensuring features and associated documentation are clear and easily consumable by other engineering teams, functional teams and business stakeholders.

• Identifies issues that will keep the platform features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and works with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level customer issues

• Assists with team and customer onboarding


All about you

• 4+ years’ experience in project management.

• Financial Institution or a Payments experience a plus.

• Proactive self-starter seeking initiatives to advance.

• Ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge


• Experience working on Confluence, Jira, ALM or similar tools

• Experience identifying, breaking down, and elaborating features/epics and user stories

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey messages at different levels – detailed and high-level management

• Ability to effectively drive resolution of issues and roadblocks

• Highly motivated and proactive to ensure the success of the team and product

• High degree of ownership

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Must be able to interact with management, internal stakeholders and collect requirements.

• Must be able to perform in a team, use judgment and operate under ambiguity.
