The Team instills the discipline to follow through on initiatives with timely reporting.

Gauge Design Engineer

As a Gauge Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, manufacturing oversight, and lifecycle management of specialized gauges used to ensure the precision and quality of our wear products. While your primary focus will be on gauges for mill liners, you will also develop tooling solutions for crushers and other specialty products as needed. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between engineering design and manufacturing, ensuring that all gauges remain compliant, up-to-date, and technically valid for their intended applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop specialized gauges and tooling for mill liners, crushers, and other product lines using advanced 3D modeling.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process of gauges to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage the validity and compliance of the gauge inventory, ensuring all tools are up-to-date and technically accurate.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and technical teams to deliver customized tooling solutions for specific project needs.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to gather feedback on tool performance and drive ongoing enhancements.
  • Share technical knowledge with ME team members regarding gauge application and quality assurance protocols.
  • Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and technical documentation for tooling production.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of the team and project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3 years of experience in product development, preferably within mining/crushing/etc.
  • Proficient with CAD and PDM platforms, as well as Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Strong writing abilities for creating technical reports, training documents, and marketing materials.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, able to analyze data and evaluate its validity.
  • High attention to detail, consistently delivers accurate work independently after initial training.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel to mining sites as required.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in tooling manufacturing and/or quality processes.
  • In-depth understanding of mining operations and crushing equipment processes.
  • Experience using Autodesk applications such as Vault Professional and Inventor.

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Cockpit DRE (Design Responsible Engineer) to lead the design, development, and delivery of automotive cockpit systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of cockpit components, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Design Responsible Engineer (DRE) for cockpit systems, including instrument panel, center console, HMI, displays, switches, and trim components
  • Own the complete product lifecycle from concept, design, development, validation, to production launch
  • Translate customer and system requirements into technical specifications and design solutions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CAE, manufacturing, suppliers, quality, testing, program management)
  • Manage supplier interactions , technical reviews, and design deliverables
  • Lead design reviews , DFMEA, tolerance stack-up, and change management activities
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards (GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP)
  • Support prototype builds, validation testing , and issue resolution during development and production
  • Track technical risks, cost, weight, and quality targets throughout the program
  • Drive continuous improvement and adherence to OEM processes and timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of automotive cockpit architecture and components
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5 / NX / Creo)
  • Good understanding of plastic parts design , tooling, and manufacturing processes

We are looking for a Senior Interior Design Engineer to lead the development of plastic components for automotive interior and exterior systems. In this role, you will drive high-quality mechanical design using Siemens NX (3D/2D), creating assemblies, detailed drawings with GD&T , and ensuring manufacturability through strong DFM application and knowledge of plastic materials and injection molding processes.

You will support the full design cycle from concept to documentation, bringing a proactive mindset, strong technical judgment, and teamwork skills. You will also guide and validate Jr. Engineers’ work , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and first-pass quality.

Activities:

  • Leading interior design activities with minimal supervision.

As a Product Design Engineer specializing in the reverse engineering of crusher wear parts, you will be at the forefront of leveraging advanced scanning technology and CAD modeling to address complex challenges in mineral processing. Your role will involve collaborating with field teams and technical experts to interpret point cloud data, transforming raw scans of worn components into precise 3D models. These 3D models are not only used for recreating parts but also serve as the basis for analyzing wear patterns and identifying opportunities for improvements in design and material selection.

You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between field operations and engineering design, working closely with both site personnel and design teams to ensure that replacement parts meet the unique demands of each mining operation. This may involve visiting mine sites to oversee scanning operations, gather firsthand insights into equipment performance, and communicate directly with maintenance teams about operational challenges.

  • Work closely with customers, product- and account managers, you will ensure a thorough understanding of client requirements, to deliver customized solutions for crusher chamber optimization projects.
