Job Title -- Product Owner -- Scrum Master
Location -- Chennai
Work Mode -- On-site, Full-time
Notice Period -- Immediate to 15 Days Joiners
The Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the engineering team through expert backlog prioritization, sprint delivery leadership, and continuous refinement of product enhancements. This role serves as the voice of the customer and product strategy within a scrum team, ensuring alignment between market needs, customer experience, and technical execution.
The CSPO will develop deep subject matter expertise in our platform, workflows, and customer business models, acting as a trusted product advisor. They will partner with General Managers to ensure that roadmap initiatives and day-to-day enhancements deliver measurable business value aligned with market opportunity, client demand, and product profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Product Ownership & Agile Delivery
- Own and continuously refine the product backlog to reflect the highest value opportunities.
- Translate product roadmap themes into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized sprints.
- Partner with engineering leadership to forecast work and ensure alignment with team capacity and velocity.
- Validate sprint outcomes to ensure quality and Definition of Done.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and participate in product demos.
- Roadmap Execution
- Use feedback from GMs, Clients, and Business Operations teams to refine priorities and business cases.
- Manage near-term feature execution in support of strategic roadmap.
Skills and Qualifications
- CSPO or equivalent Product Owner Certification.
- 5+ years working in agile product delivery, or Business Analyst role within a software environment.
- Strong ability to translate business concepts into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication, prioritization,, and decision-making skills.
- Healthcare technology or Saa S product experience.
- Familiarity with data interoperability, claims workflows, and automation.
- Proficiency with agile tools.
Must Have
- Experience in building healthcare products or platforms.
- Familiarity with:
- FHIR / HL7 / EDI / Claims processing / RCM workflows / EMR–EHR integrations.
- Exposure to AI/ML use cases in healthcare data.
Healthcare Domain & Compliance Awareness
- Work closely with solutioning / architecture teams to align delivery with healthcare compliance needs (HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, interoperability).
- Understand customer’s business flows — eligibility, claims, EHR workflows, patient/member journeys
