Job Description


Overview

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to support ongoing enhancements and integration of Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Opportunity and Pipeline Management (with SFDC). This individual will play a critical role in driving business process improvements across the opportunity-to-contract lifecycle by gathering requirements, documenting user stories, and supporting delivery through IT development teams.

This role will work closely under the direction of the full-time CLM Product Owner, who will provide strategic guidance and retain final decision authority.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership Support


  • Collaborate with the full-time CLM Product Owner to define scope, backlog, and sprint priorities for ongoing Salesforce and CLM enhancements.

  • Elicit and document detailed business requirements from Sales, Legal, Operations, and Finance stakeholders.

  • Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for development teams.

  • Ensure alignment of CLM and Opportunity/Pipeline functionality with broader CRM and sales enablement strategies.

  • Conga CLM & Salesforce Enablement


  • Partner with Salesforce and Conga teams to streamline contract generation, negotiation, approval, and execution workflows.

  • Optimize integration between Salesforce Opportunity records and Conga CLM contracts to improve visibility and automation across deal stages.

  • Define and validate business rules for document templates, clause libraries, and approval hierarchies within CLM.

  • Support reporting and analytics enhancements for pipeline health, contract cycle times, and contract value realization.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT/development teams to ensure clarity and delivery accuracy.

  • Partner with Sales Operations and Legal teams to align process improvements with compliance and governance standards.

  • Facilitate UAT, capture feedback, and coordinate defect triage and resolution activities.

  • Participate in sprint ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of user stories, configuration decisions, process maps, and test scenarios.

  • Ensure all functionality changes comply with corporate policies, security, and data management requirements.

  • Contribute to change management and user adoption efforts by supporting communication and training deliverables.
  • Qualifications

    Required


  • + years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting Salesforce-based solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with Conga CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) and its integration with Salesforce Opportunity workflows.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, particularly Opportunity management, pipeline forecasting, and approval processes.

  • Proven ability to create detailed, testable user stories and define acceptance criteria.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and sprint planning practices.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across Sales, Legal, and IT functions.

  • Preferred


  • Salesforce or Conga certifications (, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Conga CLM Specialist).

  • Experience implementing or optimizing end-to-end contract lifecycle processes (from request through renewal).

  • Understanding of eSignature tools (, DocuSign, Adobe Sign) and their integration with CLM.

  • Experience with data migration or CRM process reengineering in complex enterprise environments.
