Product Owner - Customer Identity & Access Management

<p></p><p>Product Owner - Customer IAM :<br/><br/>We are seeking an expert and highly driven Product Owner with a focus on Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) to join our team in Pune.<br/><br/>This is a critical leadership role requiring an immediate joiner and operating in a hybrid mode.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of overall experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a dedicated Product Owner or Product Manager focused on identity services.<br/><br/>You will be the voice of the customer and the business, driving the strategy, roadmap, and successful delivery of our mission-critical CIAM platforms and features.<br/><br/><b>Mandatory Skills & Requirements:</b><br/><br/><b>Overall Experience:</b><br/><br/>- Minimum of 12+ years in the technology space, with a significant portion dedicated to enterprise platforms or security.<br/><br/><b>Product Ownership Experience:</b> 3+ years of dedicated, proven experience as a Product Owner/Manager, demonstrating successful ownership of product lifecycle, vision, and backlog.<br/><br/><b>CIAM Domain Expertise:</b><br/><br/>- Proven experience with CIAM platforms or identity services.<br/><br/>This includes consumer-facing registration, login, profile management, and preference centers.<br/><br/>- Authentication & Compliance: Deep understanding of digital authentication methods (e.g., MFA, biometrics, passwordless) and knowledge of relevant identity management platforms such as PINGID, FORGE ROCK, or other CIAM/IAM solutions.<br/><br/>Knowledge of global and local compliance standards related to identity (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).<br/><br/>- Requirements & Backlog Management: Strong background in requirements gathering, defining user stories, managing and prioritizing the product backlog, and effectively facilitating development sprints.<br/><br/>- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder communication across business, legal, compliance, and engineering teams.<br/><br/>- Technical Literacy: Strong technical literacy in IAM architecture or broader security concepts, enabling effective communication and decision-making with development and engineering teams.<br/><br/>- Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills required to champion the product vision and motivate cross-functional teams.<br/><br/><b>Secondary (Highly Desired) Skills:</b><br/><br/>- Industry Experience: Experience operating in financial services, regulatory environments, or cybersecurity, where identity and security are paramount.<br/><br/>- IAM Protocols: Hands-on familiarity with core IAM protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.<br/><br/>- Identity Platforms: Prior working knowledge or experience with other enterprise identity platforms.<br/><br/>- Certifications: Possession of relevant industry certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe POPM), CISSP, or equivalent.<br/><br/><b>Key Role Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/>- Vision and Strategy: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the CIAM platform, aligning it with business objectives and security standards.<br/><br/>- Backlog Ownership: Own, groom, and prioritize the product backlog (features, user stories, defects) for the development team, ensuring clarity and readiness for execution.<br/><br/>- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.<br/><br/>- Security & Compliance: Ensure that all CIAM features are designed with security-by-design principles and meet all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.<br/><br/>- Go-to-Market: Collaborate with marketing, operations, and technical teams for successful product launch and adoption<br/></p><p></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
