As a Product Owner, you will be part of a Scrum squad, responsible for prioritizing the product backlog to maximize value for a defined area of our HR SaaS product. You will work closely with the development team to refine user stories, align with customer and stakeholder needs, and represent the voice of the customer. What you will be doing:
Backlog Ownership: Own and maintain the product backlog for the assigned Scrum squad, ensuring it is well‑groomed and aligned with user and stakeholder needs.
Story Definition: Create clear user stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria and provide ongoing clarification to the development team.
Prioritization: Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer feedback, and strategic direction from the Product Head and Senior Product Owner.
Scrum Collaboration: Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies and support the team during sprint planning and execution.
Stakeholder Engagement: Gather feedback from stakeholders and users, incorporating insights into the backlog and maintaining transparency on progress and goals.
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Senior Product Owner and Product Head to support the product strategy, roadmap, and overall direction.
Customer & Process Focus: Build deep customer understanding, assist with product documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes.
What we are looking for from you:
Essential:
· Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, IT) or equivalent experience.
· Proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Miro)
· Experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
· 1-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, or other relevant business role with exposure to software development.
· Experience with AI-powered software is a plus.
· Experience working with Data for analytic purposes is a plus
Desirable:
· Communication & Teamwork: Clear communication and effective collaboration in cross‑functional teams.
· Execution Skills: Strong organization, time management, and problem‑solving abilities.
