Responsibilities:
Job Type: 1099 Contractor
Project Duration:
Documentation: Approved plans, site-specific job card, and structural, electrical, or PV calculations.
Accessibility: All electrical components, including grounding and inverters, must be exposed and accessible.
Safety: A safe, secure ladder must be in place, complying with ladder safety standards (e.g., 3 feet above roof edge).
Verification: Inspection of panel model/tag, racking, wiring (proper size/type), and labeling for code compliance.
System Operation: Testing or inspection of system functionality.
- 5 years' experience as a Product Quality Inspector in Solar Array Installation
- Certifications in NABCEP Solar Inspector certification or similar credentials.
- Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE standards, and structural requirements..
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE standards, and structural requirements.
- Field Experience: Previous work in electrical construction, solar PV installation, or as a building inspector.
- Inspection Proficiencies: Ability to identify structural issues, improper grounding, junction box, and raceway failures, or faulty rapid shutdown systems.
- Documentation: Reviewing site plans, and confirming compliance with manufacturer specifications and AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) requirements.
- Certifications: Certifications in solar technology or electrical inspection (e.g., IAEI) are highly preferred to enhance credibility. .

- Must be able to travel to Henry IL 61537, USA and nearby areas (exact CLIENT address can ONLY be shared once contractor joins)
