At Fieldproxy, we’re building the next generation of powerful field service management solutions - complex operations software built for efficiency and customization.


We’re looking for a Product Tester (QA) who can ensure that our platform remains robust, reliable, and bug-free as we scale our highly configurable solution.


Role Overview


As a Product Tester, you will be the final gatekeeper of quality for our web and mobile applications. You won't just be "finding bugs"—you will be validating complex workflows, ensuring data integrity across our JSON-based configurations, and verifying that our platform delivers on its promise of efficiency.

This is a technical testing role. You will work closely with Solutions Architects and Developers to understand the "logic" behind a feature, test the underlying data (PostgreSQL), and ensure the UI behaves exactly as intended for our enterprise clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and Execute Test Plans: Create detailed test cases and scenarios based on product requirements and client-specific configurations.
  • Validate Data & Configurations: Go beyond the UI to verify data integrity using SQL queries and validate JSON structure logic to ensure configurations function correctly.
  • Cross-Platform Testing: Perform rigorous manual testing across our Web and Mobile (Android/iOS) applications to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • API & Integration Testing: Test API endpoints to ensure data flows correctly between Fieldproxy and external integrations.
  • Bug Lifecycle Management: Identify, document, and track bugs clearly (including reproduction steps and logs), working with engineering to drive them to resolution.
  • Regression Testing: Continuously test existing workflows to ensure that new features or custom configurations do not break core functionality.
  • User Perspective: Act as the voice of the customer during the development cycle, ensuring that features are not just "working" but are intuitive and usable.

  • Requirements


    • Proven Experience in QA: 1-3+ years of experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications (SaaS experience preferred).
    • Database Knowledge: Comfort with SQL and PostgreSQL to verify data states and troubleshoot issues backend-side.
    • Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and understand JSON structures and basic API testing tools (Postman, cURL, etc.).
    • Detail-Oriented Mindset: A sharp eye for UI/UX inconsistencies and logic gaps in complex workflows.
    • Strong Communication: Ability to clearly articulate technical issues to developers and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Startup Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where requirements evolve quickly.

  • Nice-to-Have


    • Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
    • Basic scripting skills (Python, JS) for test data generation.
    • Exposure to performance or load testing tools.
