Product Solutions - Manager (Andean)

As a Manager in our Regional Product Solutions organization, you will serve as the product subject matter expert for the Andean market, focusing on integrating business, digital, and processing solutions while maximizing synergy between product and processing strategies. This role champions Visa’s existing processing assets, drives the strategic growth of network processing, and oversees digital solutions with a focus on authentication. You will collaborate with Business Development, Merchant Sales, Acquirer, and Client Services teams, and will be responsible for both long‑term and short‑term planning, analysis, and execution of processing and digital initiatives.
Key Areas of Focus
- Network and Digital Commercialization – responsible for integration of business and Regional Product Solutions (Processing and Digital) to achieve synergies of processing and product strategies, champion existing Visa processing assets, and drive strategic expansion of network processing share.
- Solutions Architecture – ensure network and digital readiness, enable infrastructure for new market entry and new use cases, stitch capabilities together, and design architecture for localized processing solutions.
- Solution Delivery and Deployment – deploy processing and digital solutions via ISO‑based merchants, API and Web Services, manage end‑to‑end project management, testing, and implementation of new processing opportunities with clients.
Specific Responsibilities
Lead the development of the Authentication Strategy for Andean
- Identify key technical, operational and commercial elements to develop authentication capabilities.
- Coordinate development activities with key technical groups and manage interactions with Product, Sales and Acceptance.
- Communicate strategies and action plans to country sales teams and track revenue metrics.
- Support implementation, operation, and rapid problem resolution, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Review and report activities regularly to Regional Function and Global leaders.
Manage the identification and assessment of processing trends, opportunities, and threats in the Andean Region
- Identify, qualify, and quantify market‑specific opportunities in cooperation with local relationship management and product teams.
- Promote understanding of critical success factors to achieve network processing revenue objectives.
- Provide input into design and implementation of marketing and promotional activities to increase awareness of processing objectives and priorities.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise and manage education and sales support
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Visa’s authentication capabilities and lead authentication products objectives.
- Lead training of relationship management staff to achieve self‑sufficiency in authentication sales and opportunity identification.
- Provide professional advice and consultancy covering tactical and strategic objectives.
Conduct key stakeholder presentations, seminars, and workshops
- Deliver tailored content to articulate the capabilities and value of VisaNet to various audiences, including central banks, senior management, and industry bodies.
- Identify value‑added processing opportunities and highlight commercial and performance benefits to customers.
- Manage end‑to‑end project management, testing, and implementation of new processing opportunities with clients.
This is a hybrid position. The expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, IT, or related field, preferably in MIS or Engineering.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in payment processing, including products, services, business systems, and processes.
- Experience with card issuers, consumer banking, retail banking, or other financial services required.
- Sales experience and proven negotiation skills required.
- Ability to generate organizational momentum through innovative solutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to influence senior‑level international bankers.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Self‑starter with proven problem‑solving abilities.
- Customer focus with ability to establish productive relationships at all levels.
- Ability to set priorities, manage expectations, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to achieve goals with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated drive and energy.
- Multicultural sensitivity and relationship‑management skills, effective within Latin America.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
