DSS Imagetech Pvt. Ltd. is a leading provider of advanced medical imaging and therapeutic solutions in India, partnering with globally recognized technology brands. As part of its orthopaedics and rehabilitation portfolio, DSS has partnered with MBST (Magnetic Resonance Therapy), a non-invasive, radiation-free therapeutic technology used for pain management, mobility improvement, and musculoskeletal regeneration. The MBST portfolio serves orthopaedic, sports medicine, and rehabilitation specialists, supporting effective clinical outcomes without surgical intervention.
Role Description:
The Product Specialist – Orthopaedics will be responsible for driving brand awareness, brand establishment, and clinical adoption of the MBST portfolio across the orthopaedics, pain management, and rehabilitation segments.
This role needs to manage clinical and technical scope, building strong customer relationships, supporting key opinion leaders, and enabling sales growth through effective product positioning, education, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Promotion & Market Development
- Establish and strengthen MBST brand presence across hospitals, clinics, physiotherapy centres, and sports rehabilitation facilities.
- Ensure consistent communication of clinical value, differentiation, and outcomes .
- Support brand initiatives, clinical campaigns, workshops, and awareness programs.
Customer Engagement & KOL Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, sports injury specialists, and rehabilitation professionals .
- Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive advocacy and long-term brand credibility.
- Act as the primary contact for product and application-related discussions.
Product Demonstration & Clinical Application
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations highlighting benefits in pain management, mobility improvement, and sports injury recovery.
- Provide hands-on guidance on treatment protocols and clinical applications to ensure optimal outcomes.
Training & Sales Enablement
- Conduct product and application training for internal sales teams and external customers.
- Develop and maintain training materials, demo tools, and application guides.
- Enable sales teams with strong product knowledge for confident brand representation.
Pre- & Post-Sales Support
- Support sales teams during pre-sales engagements with strong technical and clinical inputs.
- Ensure smooth post-sales onboarding and continued customer engagement.
Events & Brand Representation
- Represent DSS and the MBST brand at conferences, CMEs, workshops, exhibitions, and webinars .
- Support lead generation and market development through live demos and clinical discussions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, Life Sciences, Medical Technology or related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in medical devices, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, or therapeutic technologies.
Key Competencies required for the role:
- Strong understanding of orthopaedics, pain management, rehabilitation, and non-invasive therapies .
- Proven ability in brand promotion, customer engagement, and clinical education .
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable engaging with senior clinicians and KOLs.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to non-invasive therapeutic or regenerative technologies .
- Experience in building and establishing medical device brands in new or developing markets.
- Ability to influence clinical adoption through training and education.
- Experience with workshops, CMEs, and clinical awareness programs.
