Opportunity Overview 

Are you ready to elevate your career in manufacturing operations and be a part of creating the world's best desserts? Dessert Holdings partners with some of North America's most iconic chains to bring people together to celebrate life's sweetest moments! Our team in Aurora, CO is looking for a Production Clerk! The Production Clerk is responsible for supporting production leadership with life cycle administrative and data entry duties. The Production Clerk works with department supervisors and other department personnel to assess administrative needs and provide support on all matters related to clerical including but not limited to data entry, production schedule reviews, document processing, department filing needs, record keeping and schedule/calendar follow-up.

 

What You'll Do Every Day



  • Prepares, sorts and interprets production department data as necessary

  • Provides clerical and administrative support to Production Leadership

  • Answers phone calls and emails.

  • Performs data entry and filing tasks for production department and departmental files.

  • Copies, collates, and otherwise prepares reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence for Production department

  • Understands the significance of accurate reporting and data entry.

  • Performs regular data and file reviews, clarifies missing information by contacting necessary department leader

  • Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).

  • Adheres to PPE requirements as required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Able to stay focused in a loud working environment 

  • Must have reliable transportation and can work a flexible schedule.

  • Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.

  • Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish.

  • Must be able to understand and follow written instructions.

  • Must understand basic mathematical concepts.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.

  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • Knowledge of MS word and excel.
