Job Title: Production Designer – Workplace Interiors
Location: India, Bangalore
Experience: 2–4 years
Role Summary
The Production Designer supports the delivery of high-quality workplace interior projects by converting design concepts into accurate, coordinated, and execution-ready drawings. This role works closely with senior designers, project managers, and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained through documentation and site execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Documentation
- Assist in preparing detailed interior drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Translate schematic and design development inputs into GFC / IFC drawings
- Update drawings based on internal reviews, consultant inputs, and site requirements
- Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and version control
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with senior designers, project managers, MEP teams, and consultants
- Support resolution of basic design and coordination issues
- Assist in responding to RFIs and site queries related to design intent
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure drawings align with basic building codes, fire & life safety norms, and workplace standards
- Perform internal checks before drawings are issued
- Follow M Moser design standards, templates, and documentation protocols
Site & Vendor Interaction
- Participate in site visits to understand execution constraints
- Support vendor coordination for joinery, furniture, finishes, and samples
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings and material submittals
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture
- 2–4 years of experience in commercial or workplace interior projects
- Strong proficiency in Auto CAD & Sketchup (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of Revit / BIM is an advantage
- Basic understanding of interior construction methods and materials
- Good coordination, communication, and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow technically
