Position Overview

The SQL Production Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of production database systems and SQL-based applications. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, performance tuning, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to maintain a reliable production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production database systems and SQL-based applications.
  • Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Tune database performance and optimize SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to maintain a reliable production environment.
Qualifications
  • Advanced SQL concepts and ability to develop complex queries.
  • Experience with CL, CLLE, RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE for developing and debugging code.
  • Ready to work in production support and development activities.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and incident management process.
