Production Engineer: Lean Operations & Cost Optimization

Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets.
2. Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital.
3. Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards that will meet our customers’ expectations.
4. Ensure all manufacturing processes are adhering to all Regulatory and Statutory Requirements.
5. Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports company strategic initiative.
6. Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need and encouraging the use of new techniques and focusing on fact‑based problem solving.
