Production Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Monitor mill performance and maintain optimal mill balance.

Supervise and provide guidance to the senior miller and mill technician.

Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the plant.

Review and verify production documentation and checklists for accuracy and completeness.

Identify and implement process efficiency improvements within the mill.

Monitor, investigate, and resolve plant operation stoppages and equipment breakdowns.

Monitor and assess equipment condition to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures.

Ensure production staff adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety work procedures.

Source suppliers and obtain quotations for necessary materials and services.

Contributes to production order management and planning.

Ensures production complies with all applicable food safety standards.
