Designation: Production Manager–Manufacturing

Location : Special Economic Zone, Sricity, Tada, Andhra Pradesh

Report to: AVP

We seek a dynamic Plant Manager who possesses an exceptional project management skills, making sure goods are produced to the right quantity and quality, and at the right price. Ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels, good presentation skills, IT skills and excellent problem solving skills. An understanding of manufacturing processes and knowledge of manufacturing quality standards is essential requirement. Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for supervision of all phases of Plant operations including:

Production, quality control, maintenance, receiving and shipping. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring and training personnel and facility/physical Plant up-keep and capital improvements. In addition the Plant manager will be responsible for annual budget planning and execution. Required to work closely with the production team to increase productivity and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Strictly adhere OTIF 100% as per P2 – KRA
2. Direct and coordinate Plant operations within company policies and procedures.
3. Maintain a clean and safe Plant.
4. Establish and direct Plant policies and procedures.
5. Responsible for Plant production goals.
6. Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.
7. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
8. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping.
9. Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
10. Select and train Plant supervisory and administrative staff.
11. Conduct employee performance reviews.
12. Schedule and conduct Plant meetings.
13. Responsible for the product quality control for the Plant.
14. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
15. Proven experience working in SAP
16. Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Needle Punch wadding production (including calendaring and singing): To ensure that the daily/monthly targeted production goals are achieved. To strictly follow the SOP for production and preventive maintenance. To coordinate with PD team develop new products for filtration, Geo textiles etc. To allocate and train manpower to work in different shifts.

Thermal Bonded Wadding production: To ensure that the daily/monthly targeted production goals are achieved. To strictly follow the SOP for production and preventive maintenance. To coordinate with PD team develop new products for domestic wadding sales and for other textile applications. To allocate and train manpower to work in different shifts.

Quilting, Sewing and Finishing lines: To monitor production of comforters, Quilts, Mattress pads, wadding rolls, filtration and geo textile products etc. To ensure that the daily/ monthly targeted production goals are achieved. To strictly follow the SOP for production and preventive maintenance. To allocate and train manpower to work in different shifts.

To ensure that Lean Management – Single Line flow is implemented as per company’s goal.

To ensure that the Plant inspection and social compliance policies of various customers are strictly adhered.

To ensure that all departments are strictly following SAP system.

Review financial statements, production or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Experience – 12 – 16 yrs
• Location: Sricity, Tada
• Education: B.Tech in Textile (Certificate in internal audits preferably)
• Experience Background: Home textile Exports.
• CTC – 12 -15 LPA
• Experience in SAP
