Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading precision aerospace manufacturing business to recruit a Production Manager to join their Sheffield facility.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will lead and manage the operations unit and will be instrumental in creating and sustaining a collaborative and successful working environment.

Duties and responsibilities of the Production Manager include:

  • Managing business unit performance against production targets
  • Drive and deliver process improvement projects
  • Conducting accident investigations promptly ensuring robust preventative measures are put in place
  • Creation and adherence to a sustainable 6S /CI culture 
  • Driving Quality performance as part of site zero defects strategy
  • Responsible for all people management including absence, appraisals, disciplinaries, training and development
