Production Operator
Location: Dewsbury, WF12
Duration: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 3:30pm Fri 6am - 2.30pm
Salary: £12.21 - £15.54 basic plus O/T rates
Gi Group are looking for motivated production operators / machine setters on behalf of our client, a trusted building products and solutions provider. As a production operator, you be hands on and proactive, assisting your team in manufacturing of concrete products for the construction industry.
Production operative duties will include:
* Measuring and setting up moulds according to specification
* Inserting steel into the machine for pre-stressing
* Pouring concrete into the mould over the stressed steel
* Taking out the structure out of the moulds
* Quality inspecting, measuring the finished product
* Cleaning out the area for next batch
* Using tools, such as saws when needed to cut hard materials
