Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Sittingbourne, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to work in their Foundry to assist in the sand-casting process. Full training will be given so you do not need to have worked in this field before.
Main Duties
* Aluminium melt preparation
* Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting
* Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting)
* Moving moulds following casting
* Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast
* Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
Requirements
* A Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Construction background.
* A good level of physical coordination
* A good work ethic and time keeping skills.
* You must be physically fit as the role entails a degree of manual ...
