Production Operator

Production Operator - 2nd Shift - Asheville - $17.50/hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for an Production Operator for 2nd Shift for a manufacturing company located in Asheville.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform setups and follow the first piece approval process before beginning operation.
• Assure tooling is maintained and always returned to its designated storage area.
• Perform daily safety checks per work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Comply with all Quality Management System requirements and assure before operating any process that all work instruction training for that job has been satisfied.
• Support customer delivery requirements to assure 100% on time delivery.
• Support and drive lean manufacturing techniques including 5S, visual factory, setup reduction, cellular concepts and continuous improvement.
