Production Operator

The Production Operator position will utilize established documentation, equipment, quality, and production processes in accordance with safety procedures, and medical device regulations to process and manufacture finished products, such as sutures and absorbable fibers. 

Principal Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and adjusts multiple production processes and/or equipment to SOP as trained, including packaging and labeling.
• Understands and uses various measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, Instron, and scales following prescribed procedures to meet high quality specifications.
• Documents process data and parameters as required by GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Identifies when process is out of spec and recognizes when to notify supervisor or manufacturing engineer.
