Production Operator

Pixartprinting, a member of the Vistaprint family, is leader in the digital printing industry, is excited to announce the opening of a new facility in Warrendale, Pittsburgh (PA).

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining cutting equipment, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of cutting processes and techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Load material onto the Polar cutter and supervise it during the process
• Ensure accurate cutting and trimming according to job specifications
• Check the quality of the work done and report any errors during the cutting process
• Unload the finished product and prepare it for the next stage of production
• Ensure proper calibration and setup of the cutter based on specific job requirements
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the cutter to ensure optimal performance
• Package the finished product and print the waybill for shipment
• Use the management system during the different stages of processing

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the role in structured companies
• Good knowledge of cutting machinery (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with the use of a PC
• Willingness to work shifts
