Senior Manager - PPC (Production Planning & Control)

Locations: Tarapur (Maharashtra) & Bhachau (Gujarat)

Industry: Transmission Line Towers / Heavy Steel Fabrication

Reporting to: Plant Head / Head - Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - PPC to lead end-to-end production planning and control across two manufacturing plants involved in tower/steel structure fabrication and hot-dip galvanizing . The role ensures on-time delivery, optimal capacity utilization, cost efficiency, and compliance with international quality standards .

Candidate Profile

• Education: B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy
• Experience: 10-15+ years in PPC within tower fabrication / heavy steel + galvanizing
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP/MM (or equivalent ERP)
• Strong knowledge of MRP, RCCP, finite scheduling, Lean, TOC basics
• Willing to travel between Tarapur & Bhachau

Key Responsibilities

• Convert order book into monthly, weekly & daily production plans aligned to customer and export schedules
• Own MPS, MRP, BOM validation, inventory control , and vendor coordination
• Plan and optimize fabrication, CNC/beam line loading, jig planning & galvanizing schedules
• Lead galvanizing batch planning , coordinating with QA/QC for coating standards and acceptance
• Drive daily production reviews , WIP control, recovery planning, and system accuracy
• Oversee dispatch planning, logistics coordination, and OTD commitments
• Lead Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve throughput and reduce rework
• Ensure compliance with ISO, EHS, and international galvanizing standards
