Position Summary: The Production Supervisor's primary function is to ensure safety, productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction goals are met or exceeded across all plant production operations to achieve company objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and control production work including the timely set up of equipment.
  • Responsible for communicating with other functions and/or departments to address issues that may surface such as shortage in inventory, short lead times, incomplete or inaccurate work instructions, etc.
  • Overall responsibility for quality, productivity, delivery performance and customer satisfaction
  • Delegate work orders to optimize productivity and employee capabilities.
  • Staff the manufacturing function (prepare job descriptions, make hiring decisions, and deploy resources) to meet production requirements.
