- Review inventory levels and maintain production schedules to ensure product availability. - Manage workload and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow. - Work with Purchasing and establish raw material reorder points. - Plan production operation, establishing priorities and sequences for product manufacturing. - Review operational and production reports and resolve manufacturing issues to ensure minimum cost and avoid operational delays. - Participate in meetings with new product launches. Provide input on manufacturing methods and quality control of new. - Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization. - Takes a hands-on approach as required by daily workload, anticipating order fulfillment as needed. Must be able to provide hands-on training in production area functions. - Ensures shipping and receiving tasks are performed in a satisfactory manner. - Verifies that items are in stock ...
