Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor applications, batches, and production environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Investigate and resolve production failures with minimal downtime.
- Develop and optimize Splunk queries and dashboards for effective log analysis and monitoring.
- Utilize APM tools to track application performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Manage production deployments using Blue Green and Canary strategies.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain SLIs/SLOs and improve system reliability.
- Perform Cloud Ops activities, including scaling, monitoring, and incident response.
- Execute Linux commands and shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Apply Python scripting for automation, monitoring, and reporting tasks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide timely updates and solutions.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of application monitoring, batch processes, and production support workflows.
- Hands on experience with Splunk, APM tools, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and Python.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies (Blue Green, Canary).
- Understanding of SLI/SLOs and reliability engineering principles.
