Job Description
- 5 to 7 years of experience as SRE along with L2 Production support.
- Banking domain knowledge, Basic Java Coding, Technical Troubleshooting knowledge.
- Monitor the applications Health/Errors and raise incident if any threshold breaches.
- Monitor the system metrics (CPU/Mem etc) and troubleshoot to restore the system.
- Analyze and troubleshoot logs to fix or escalate to L3 developer if noticed any errors/issue.
- Monitor the batches and rerun if needed, troubleshoot the logs if fails.
- Continue to update the status to respective stakeholder.
- Technical Knowledge on Linux/Unix with experience in scripting and automation. Basic Knowledge on Windows scripting.
- Good expertise on Monitoring tools (Grafana/Kibana etc or any relevant monitoring tools).
- ITIL knowledge is a must on INCIDENT and PROBLEM handling process
- Knowledge on Java/J2EE will be an addon.
- Knowledge on JBOSS/ Heap, Threads
- Basics on Network fundamentals
- Batch monitoring/Processing - Ability to re-run, force jobs, sysout capturing, investigating agent unavailable issues, create job/batch (Knowing would be added advantage.
