Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for Windows based applications, servers, and infrastructure.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production failures, incidents, and outages with minimal downtime.
- Perform Windows server administration including patching, upgrades, and configuration management.
- Support production deployments and release activities, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain SLIs/SLOs and improve system reliability.
- Execute PowerShell scripting and automation for routine tasks and reporting.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security policies in Windows environments.
- Work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) for hybrid production support operations.
- Document procedures, incident resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows Administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS).
- Hands on experience in production support workflows and incident management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, SCOM, Nagios, or equivalent).
- Experience with deployment strategies and release management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Understanding of cloud operations and hybrid infrastructure support.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
