What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Production Systems Specialist, you will: 

  - Drive adoption of cutting-edge machine automation technology and prepare stakeholders for autonomous farming systems, with a strong focus on Grain and Cotton industries.  

  - Act as the dealership expert in John Deere on-machine technology, leading field trials, coordinating demonstrations, and delivering tailored training to staff, customers, and supply chain partners.  

  - Validate new agricultural technology through rigorous field testing and trials to assess performance and return on investment for customers.  

  - Champion technology integration by transferring knowledge to Branch Product Specialists and Ag Sales Representatives, ensuring successful implementation across branches.  

  - Collaborate with branches to deliver impactful product demonstrations and showcase technology benefits to customers.  

  - Consult with customers to understand current and future technology needs, ensuring solutions meet functional requirements and deliver value.  

  - Provide exceptional service and technical support to customers and partners, reinforcing RDO’s reputation for reliability and expertise.  

  -  Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement in every aspect of your work. 

What We’re Looking For 

Someone who: 

  - Brings experience in crop production practices and ag mechanisation 

  - Has equipment operation experience and can optimise setup and demonstrations 

  - Can deliver knowledge transfer through practical and classroom training 

  - Is safety conscious, solutions focused, and ready to grow 

  - A proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results
