Machine Operator

Location: Regency Park, SA

Employment Type: Part-time (36 hours per week) - Rotating roster (Day & Night shifts, 12-hour shifts)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and safety-focused Machine Operator to operate and maintain production equipment in line with technical standards for the production of products for well known National Australian Supermarkets. This role is essential to achieving production targets and ensuring product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate equipment according to specifications
  • Conduct quality checks on products to meet technical standards
  • Perform daily roll changes (paper) and general machine cleaning duties
  • Carry out basic preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., lubrication)
  • Minimise downtime by troubleshooting and resolving first-response equipment issues
  • Complete accurate reporting on quality, productivity, and waste performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high housekeeping standards (5S)
What We're Looking For Technical Skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment (desirable)
  • Ability to perform machine setup and basic maintenance
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements
  • Basic computer skills
