DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review outpatient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures.

• Assign and sequence codes accurately based on official guidelines for coding and reporting.

• Assign level I and level II modifiers correctly.

• In-depth knowledge of Profee Coding cases such as Surgery Profee coding, Cardio Profe coding, Neuro Profee Coding, and IR Profee Coding

• Thorough understanding and application of medical necessity, APC / OPPS for processing claims
