Professor of Physiotherapy (Cardio)

Professor in Physiotherapy (with specialization in Cardiopulmonary/Cardiorespiratory)

Educational Qualification :

• MPT (Master of Physiotherapy) in Cardiorespiratory / Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy from an RGUHS-recognized / equivalent university.
• Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or allied health sciences is mandatory for the post of Professor (as per UGC 2018 Regulations & RGUHS circulars).

Teaching Experience :

• Minimum 10 years of full-time teaching experience in Physiotherapy after MPT, out of which at least 5 years must be as Associate Professor in an RGUHS-recognized / PCI-recognized institution.

Research & Publications :

• Minimum 10 research publications in indexed/peer-reviewed journals (at least 5 in UGC-CARE list / Scopus / Web of Science).
• At least 5 publications should be as first/corresponding author.
• Evidence of guiding at least 2 MPT students to completion (preferred).

Other Requirements :

• Valid registration with Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) or State Physiotherapy Council.
• Experience as RGUHS-recognized PG Guide (highly desirable).

Additional Desirable Criteria (RGUHS Preference)

• Publications/patents in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, pulmonary function testing, cardiac rehab, or ICU physiotherapy.
• Participation in research projects/grants.
• Contribution to curriculum development, accreditation (NAAC/NBA/IAP), or departmental leadership.
