Prognosis SME

Role Summary
We are seeking a Prognosis Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the upgrade of prognosis from version 11.9 to 12.3. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with Prognosis, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience working with application, middleware, database, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade of Prognosis from version 11.9 to 12.3
• Act as the primary SME for Prognosis across projects and operations
  
• Design and implement end-to-end monitoring solutions using Prognosis
• Configure dashboards, alerts, KPIs, thresholds, and reports aligned with business SLAs
• Perform root cause analysis for performance, availability, and capacity issues
• Integrate Prognosis with other monitoring, logging, and ITSM tools
• Lead performance tuning and optimization initiatives
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to teams
• Support production incidents and problem management activities
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, network, and database teams
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and best practices
• Participate in client discussions, solution design workshops, and architecture reviews

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Prognosis (APM / Infrastructure Monitoring)
• Experience with prognosis version 11.9 and 12.3
• Expertise in windows administration
• Expertise in performance analysis, capacity planning, and RCA
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
• Experience in enterprise or large-scale environments
