Job Summary
The Cardiac Sonography Program Director is responsible for the structure and management of the program’s daily operations. This includes curriculum development, classroom/skills lab/clinical/simulation instruction, assessment, accreditation, student support, supervision, leadership, community outreach, and maintenance of internal and external partnerships.
Job Duties
+ Ensure initial and then ongoing program accreditation processes under the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs ( CAAHEP ) by satisfying the Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT).
+ Consistently review and align policies and procedures with CAAHEP standards and guidelines for JRC-CVT.
+ Maintain current expert knowledge in cardiac sonography and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.
+ Responsible for course outline, goals, and objectives development.
